Meeeeeee !
A little about me. I’ve been a Marriage Celebrant on the Gold Coast for 3 years now, I am very very busy and marry up to 110 couples a year in beautiful weddings! I am also the founder of Wedding Collective Gold Coast, a Gold Coast based wedding directory that has soughter wedding vendors (best in the biz kind of thang) and we host two major wedding open days a year.
Although marrying on the Gold Coast is my main region, I also marry quite a lot in Byron Bay and put my finger in the pie in Brisbane & Tweed Coast. I have been fortunate enough to be flown to New Zealand and Sydney to make my couple dreams come true too.
So, between being a busy Marriage Celebrant, owner of WCGC and a mum of two little energetic cherubs, I do also enjoy going out with the girls and eating some good food and sipping a few cocktails (but not too many, because, ya know, weekends = weddings).
My favourite wedding style!
My favourite wedding style is fun & romantic! When you look back on your wedding day and the ceremony, you’re not necessarily going to remember all the words that I spoke, but you will remember if you laughed, if you happy cried, and if old mate shouts something out because the ceremony is just that good!
I tell your story in a light and easy way that makes it engaging for you and your guests. I add humour using your own story and what you tell me, so I just roll with the punches.
I also love giving it a little something different! From a romantic whisper as you pop the rings on the finger, or the guests voting on who goes first for their vows, we can do something a little more bespoke, which is of course up to you.
I once had a groom drop to one knee and propose to his soon-to-be wife ‘again’, as she originally just screamed and snatched the ring, so I gave him another chance to ask for the first and last time.
(She was waiting 14 years, I don’t blame her.)
What ‘I Do’
On your wedding day and the moments before the ceremony, you’ll feel every emotion arise at once (it’s normal!). As your marriage celebrant, I’ll ensure that we have prepared for this day so you both get to live in the moment and enjoy it.
You have full control of your ceremony with me and get to approve your script and all the details we add, so you’re at ease that everything will run smoothly and just as we had discussed.
I’m OCD & organised, and I’m here to have a good time too, whether that’s on the Northern Rivers or up on the Gold Coast!
